The Detective+ transportable area monitor is based on the highly successful Triple Plus+ and Detective models, building on the reputation, reliability and versatility of its forebears. Detective+ is inherently rugged and robust, with a sturdy fixed or folding leg protective frame options. Loud and clear alarms can be transmitted between Detective+ units while an optional built in pump allows faster gas response and better sensor protection. Detective+ may now be equipped with infra-red sensor technology, which provides either CO2 detection, or allows higher flammable gas level monitoring and immunity to the poisoning effects which standard flammable gas sensors can suffer from. There are now two options for battery capacity, either 36 hours or 60 hours with standard configuration, providing remote sites with extended usage in-between charges. HONEYWELL ANALYTICS - Lumidor MicroMAX pro
The MicroMAX Pro has it all – it’s easy to use, reliable, high quality, economical and lightweight. It also has a short response time, built-in data logging, lifetime warranty (excluding sensors and pumps), is certified for explosive dust environments and has Voice Assist.
With the addition of the voice message feature, this gas detector focuses on worker safety. You can select your language – English, French, German and Spanish – from one of the four that are included with the monitor. The visual language on the 4-line display will be the same language you selected for the voice function. Every function – from immediate warnings to simple on and off functions – is accompanied with a voice message when activated. This feature is especially valuable in poorly lit environments.
The MicroMAX Pro is OSHA compliant and has a rugged case that shields the monitor from dust, water and heavy impact. It also provides superior RFI/EMI shielding. Available in two configurations, the Impact and Impact Pro accepts either disposable and/or serviceable cartridges respectively, all of which are pre-calibrated and can be replaced in under one minute, simplifying maintenance and minimizing cost wherever possible. HONEYWELL ANALYTICS - Enforcer
The Enforcer provides easy and cost-effective ‘bump testing’ for the Impact range of multi gas detectors.
Regulations require regular testing of gas monitoring equipment to ensure that the instrument will work as and when required.
The Enforcer allows you to easily comply with regulations when using an Impact multi-gas monitor without the need for costly test facilities or third parties.
‘Bump’ testing should be carried out before use of any portable gas detector. This involves exposing each gas sensor to a known concentration of target gas and ensuring that it responds correctly. If not, the unit must be re-calibrated or serviced to replace those parts not working.
Personal gas monitors are normally calibrated every 3 to 6 months. Typically this requires specialist knowledge and equipment that is costly or the work is sub-contracted to a third party. During this time instruments are not available for use and so could delay essential operations or force additional monitors to be purchased.
The Enforcer calibrates Impact multi-gas monitors fitted with Oxygen, flammable, Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Sulphide sensors in less than two minutes. Volumes and flow rates are minimised to allow approximately 200 calibrations per cylinder of gas making calibration as low in cost as a ‘Bump’ test.
Impact instruments when used with the Enforcer are always available for use. Calibration results are recorded for printing at a later date via the optional PC software thereby ensuring that instrument histories are always available if required.

ABOUT ULTRASONIC GAS LEAK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
Ultrasonic (acoustic) gas leak detection technology functions through the constant monitoring of wide areas by advanced acoustic sensors specially tuned to process ultrasound emitted from pressurized gas leaks. This detection technology has several advantages: it does not have to wait until a gas concentration has accumulated to potentially dangerous concentrations, it does not require a gas cloud to eventually make physical contact with a sensor, and the response is instantaneous for all gas types.
Simply put, the ultrasonic leak detector only triggers an alarm when inaudible, ultrasound is detected (between 25 – 100 kHz) — which is only produced with the release of highly pressurized gas. This makes for extremely reliable and efficient performance by the detection system as there is no poisoning of sensors, it never requires field calibration, and all background noises are accurately filtered.

ULTRASONIC DETECTION COVERAGE
In order to achieve optimum performance a site mapping survey is necessary to check background noise levels, ensure alarm levels are set above the normal background conditions, programming any necessary time delays to allow for pressure venting, and to ensure all potential leak areas have coverage by a detector footprint. Net Safety technicians are available during installation and commissioning as well as providing full training with our NSM-MT-01 mapping tool.
