BANSHEE 343 ULTRASONIC GAS LEAK DETECTOR
The Banshee343 is an advanced gas leak detection system utilizing four ultra-sensitive acoustic sensors which constantly monitor wide areas for ultrasound generated from the release of pressurized gas. Ideally suited for monitoring well ventilated outdoor environments, the Banshee343 has been engineered to withstand even the most extreme conditions while including features designed to optimize performance and reduce maintenance.
Ultrasonic (acoustic) gas leak detection technology has several advantages over conventional gas sensor technologies: it does not have to wait until a gas concentration has accumulated to potentially dangerous concentrations, it does not require a gas cloud to eventually make physical contact with a sensor, and the response is instantaneous for all gas types.
- Widest Area of Coverage, 40 Meter Radius Through Four independent Sensors
- Instantaneous Response To All Types of Gas Leaks (LEL or ppm)
- Wide Temperature Range: -55°C — +85°C
- SonicCAL System — Automated Self Test and Sensor Cleanse – Failsafe & Maintenance Free
- Analog, Relay, and RS485 Digital Modbus
- Certified Worldwide for Hazardous Locations
- Detection range: 25kHz to 100 kHz — Widest Dynamic Range Available, 50db — 140dB
- Innovative Mapping Tool Helps Operators Achieve Optimum Performance At Site Location
- Programmable Time Delays to Allow for Pressure Venting, Etc.
The Banshee343 detects deadly gas leaks at the speed of sound without being affected by inclement weather, wind direction, leak direction or any potential gas dilution. When utilized together with Net Safety point gas detection and our optical flame detection, a complete and comprehensive safety system is ensured.
ABOUT ULTRASONIC GAS LEAK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
Ultrasonic (acoustic) gas leak detection technology functions through the constant monitoring of wide areas by advanced acoustic sensors specially tuned to process ultrasound emitted from pressurized gas leaks. This detection technology has several advantages: it does not have to wait until a gas concentration has accumulated to potentially dangerous concentrations, it does not require a gas cloud to eventually make physical contact with a sensor, and the response is instantaneous for all gas types.
Simply put, the ultrasonic leak detector only triggers an alarm when inaudible, ultrasound is detected (between 25 – 100 kHz) — which is only produced with the release of highly pressurized gas. This makes for extremely reliable and efficient performance by the detection system as there is no poisoning of sensors, it never requires field calibration, and all background noises are accurately filtered.

When utilized together with Net Safety point gas detection and our optical flame detection, a complete and comprehensive safety system is ensured
ULTRASONIC DETECTION COVERAGE
In order to achieve optimum performance a site mapping survey is necessary to check background noise levels, ensure alarm levels are set above the normal background conditions, programming any necessary time delays to allow for pressure venting, and to ensure all potential leak areas have coverage by a detector footprint. Net Safety technicians are available during installation and commissioning as well as providing full training with our NSM-MT-01 mapping tool.
MILLENNIUM II MULTI AND SINGLE CHANNEL GAS DETECTION
With it’s innovative multi-channel controller technology and state-of-the-art SMART (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) sensors, the Millennium II Series of gas detectors is exceptionally versatile. With the optional dual channel option you can cover more area with a single transmitter and mix and match all sensor types.
Sensors can be easily exchanged, with Infrared, Solid State MOS, Electrochemical and Catalytic Bead sensors available and compatible with both the Millennium II and Millennium II BASIC transmitters. The Millennium II transmitter automatically recognizes any connected pre-calibrated sensor and maintains an uninterrupted digital signal between them, providing leading response times including the fastest response time in the market today for H2S Hydrogen Sulfide gas detection.
ECO-SENSE 2 WIRE LOOP-POWERED H2S GAS DETECTOR
The Net Safety Monitoring ECO-SENSE detector is a truly state-of-the-art H2S gas sensor/transmitter package designed specifically for 2 wire, loop-powered installations. An economic and ecological choice, this extremely low power detector functions in a 4-20mA “sink” mode at less than .75 watts with 10-30 Vdc with a full LED display.
Operator interface is via a menu driven magnetic keypad allowing full access without opening the enclosure. There are no potentiometers and all adjustments are performed through the keypad. Requires only a simple calibration magnetic (included) for non-intrusive calibration, no other special electronic devices are needed.
MILLENNIUM II TOXIC GAS DETECTOR
Net Safety’s next generation detector, the Millennium II BASIC is a robust, reliable, and low-cost safety solution delivering highly accurate detection and protection. Our state-of-the-art “SMART” (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) sensors provide a cost-effective detector solution that includes all the features you demand with complete ease-of-use and operation.
A full range of Combustible (Catalytic Bead & Infrared) and Toxic (Solid State & Electrochemical) sensors are available, all are completely interchangeable with the Millennium II and Millennium II BASIC transmitters.
