PLANTSAFE 8000
The PLANTSAFE 8000 is a PLC based solution approved for SIL 2 applications as per IEC 61508/61511 by TÜV for safety system applications. The system can be configured with dual or simplex CPU with simplex I/O. The system’s rugged open control platform incorporates Modbus TCP with built-in Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) for redundant communications, providing you simple but secure connections to a wide range of standard software and hardware packages. This unique open approach allows users flexible migration paths.
